About Me
Alongside family, law and sport, art, specifically painting, is close to me. My grandfather, Hans Reutherborg was a fantastic draftsman who was shown in several nice places around Sweden. I am the only one in the family who has set aside significant time to carry on the Reutherburg art heritage. My artistic career started like many others of my generation with graffiti. Then I focused on train painting. The focus of my artistic expression today is to reflect the present, connected with the heritage and reuse of materials such as pgments, textiles and old paintings.
I see my paintings as time capsules from our heritage in a society that moves incredibly fast. Due to my mother’s origin from Luleå, I also have a great passion for the Scandinavian opulent nature and the people who have lived here for thousands of generations. At the same time, my Czech father’s interest in the compatriot and artist Alfons Mucha has shaped my style. For four years, I have studied and developed my technical ability so that that part does not limit my expression. Until now I have had no interest in showing my works publicly as they were not ready. Today, I feel confident in my expression and intend to take it further.
